One Stop picks Paragon’s ‘one-stop shop’ solution

August 26 2008  11:32 AM

One Stop, which operates more than 500 neighbourhood stores, has selected Paragon’s Fleet Controller software, complete with Navman Wireless vehicle tracking, as part of a system upgrade to increase operational efficiency throughout its distribution operation.

As an existing Paragon user One Stop saw the value of upgrading its Paragon system to feature Fleet Controller. "The decision was an easy one," comments David Scott, One Stop’s Head of Distribution. "We were looking for a complete solution that would enable us not just to track our trucks but to monitor performance against the plan, both in real time and for end of day reporting purposes. By going down the Paragon route we have been able to get all the functionality we require from one reliable source."

Fleet Controller integrates Paragon’s established routing and scheduling optimization capabilities with fleet tracking technology, giving transportation managers full visibility of how the day’s plan is progressing and providing an accurate picture of transportation and service performance. With Navman Wireless truck tracking, messaging and navigation included in the solution, this offers companies a complete, integrated transportation system.

With Paragon’s unrivalled support capability, One Stop will benefit from a complete integrated transportation solution - effectively its own ‘one stop shop’ for planning and tracking. Paragon’s President and CEO, William Salter, believes: "Our ability to offer clients a complete solution featuring Navman Wireless tracking technology gives companies such as One Stop the benefit of an easy upgrade to additional tracking and planned versus actual functionality – all of which is built on proven technology that has proven benefits and is supported by an experienced team."
