Citrix success for Tesco Hungary
Tesco Hungary has purchased Paragon’s
Integrated Fleets solution for planning its national distribution operation across Hungary on a daily basis. Implemented in a Citrix thin client environment for centralized software management, the Paragon software is used to produce integrated plans for over 100 trucks operating out of three product-specific DCs (fresh, grocery and non-food) and delivering to all of Tesco’s supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores located throughout Hungary.
The next stage of the implementation will be to introduce
Fleet Controller – linking routing and scheduling with truck tracking for real time fleet visibility and planned versus actual performance reporting. "Being able to get the benefits of Paragon’s routing and scheduling technology in a Citrix environment enables team members to access the software irrespective of where they are located," comments Szabolcs Gaál of Tesco Hungary. "Working in this way gives us both improved software accessibility and centralized control throughout our national operation."
