High performance planning for Hammonds
In preparation for changes to its national distribution operation, bespoke furniture maker Hammonds purchased Paragon's market leading technology for live daily planning and efficient urban routing. With
Integrated Fleets software providing the former, and street level mapping capabilities providing the latter, Hammonds has established a robust and efficient framework for its new fleet of larger, longer-working trucks.
With a 20-truck fleet and four satellite sites making up to 100 deliveries nationwide every day to customer homes and furniture fitter lockups, Hammonds now uses the Paragon software for the central planning of the whole operation. As a result, the truck fleet is more productive now that it is planned as one integrated resource, and the use of Paragon's street level routing functionality, used to plan routes for drivers making home deliveries is enabling Hammonds to offer tighter customer time windows with confidence.
